No New Posts Oakwood Flats

Most of the people still friendly with dogs come to live in the Oakwood Flats with their pets (usually small dogs, easy to hide). There is an unsaid rule here "I say nothing, you say nothing. We live in peace." Not one person living in the building will speak to anyone outside of it of their loyal companions.

The building is twelve stories high with sound-proof walls in every room, so those outside don't hear the barking. on the roof of the building is a swimming pool, shared by both dog and human.

No New Posts Riverview Townhouses

Once upon a time, the townhouses did indeed have a lovely view of the river. This ended abruptly with the building of the wall. The humans dammed up the river so the dogs wouldn't get in.

Those who live here now are enemies to the dogs, wanting all to be destroyed so they can knock down the walls and have their freedom once again.

No New Posts Up Town Private School

Up Town Private School (usually referred to as Upton) is the only school left in the city. The others were walled out of the city because of the dogs that had taken residence there. Upton teaches k-12.

No New Posts Dixie Store

The Dixie Store is a combination grocery/clothing/everything else you could ever need store. Teenagers like to come out and hang around here after school for some odd reason (my guess is the candy).

City Hall is where all the big wigs (and the general population) gather to discuss seemingly important things. The topic of the century: How the heck do we get rid of those mangy mutts? It also has a bunch of offices.

No New Posts Star Theatre

The Star Theatre plays both movies (downloaded legally off the internet, or course!) and puts on plays. In short, this is one of the only entertaining spots left in the city.

No New Posts The Back Alley

The Back Alley is the place that dogs go when their owners get nicked. It is a series of alleyways that wind through the back of the city with many of small-dog-sized hiding places. The only reason these dogs stay in the city is because they're in denial and waiting for their owners to come for them - or they can't find a way out.

The City
The city is where the humans live. There are hardly any dogs left here. The ones who are are small and scrawny so they can fit well into even the most minuscule hiding place. Pampered house pets are a thing of the past, though there may be some left.
