During the spring and summer months (and sometimes well into fall) this field is blanketed by small and bright yellow flowers - so much so you can hardly see the grass beneath them. Simply enough, this is how the field came to have it's name.
Reaching out towards the horizon, a blanket of yellow flowers as far as the eye can see. No trees disrupt their serenity. Instead, the towering beasts stick to the sidelines, growing in patches of threes, fours, fives, and sixes.
